About: End of the Year Art Department Field Trip
Join us on a day trip to the Brooklyn Museum and Botanical Gardens. Participate in an independent viewing of the Brooklyn Museum’s current and permanent exhibitions, as well as a docent lead viewing and discussion on Social Activism and Art. Next, practice your observational drawing and plein-air practice with a botanical drawing/ sketching session at the Botanical gardens (please bring sketch pad and dry materials only).

Pencils only.
Do not touch the artwork.
No food or drink.
Photography without a flash is welcome in the permanent collection, except during museum educator–led visits.
Café offers healthful sandwiches, wraps, salads, and snacks, as well as organic juices, and artisanal sodas.
