Weir Farm National Historic Sight Exhibition
Weir Farm National Historic Site Wilton, CT Theme: “Impressions of Nature” Weir Farm National Historic Site is the only national park dedicated to American painting. Artists have been drawn to Weir Farm for more than 135 years to create art inspired by nature.
Weir Farm artists paint outdoors, using the light, colors and patterns found in nature as a guide. We want to see your impressions of nature, and challenge you to create something colorful, exciting, and unique based on your experiences outdoors.
5 Select IB Art Students will participate in "Art in the Park" an IFC Project that combines efforts of nature-inspired student art-making with our National Parks and Historic Sites.
The exhibition will take place May 2nd-15th, 2018
